I have been playing games for as long as I can remember.
My story starts in the golden age of internet cafés: crowded rooms, loud keyboards, dusty CRT monitors, and the kind of excitement you only get when everyone is shouting after the same round.
I grew up on Quake and Half-Life. We were already there when Counter-Strike was still just a Half-Life mod, so yes, we are old enough to say "we were there."
Like many FPS players of that era, we spent countless hours in legendary map of Half-Life, learned the language of FFA at Crossfire. Played Counter-Strike 1.3 & 1.5, spent way too many hours on 1.6, skipped most of the Source era, and moved straight into Global Offensive.
Today, that journey continues in Counter-Strike 2. The maps have changed, the graphics have improved, and the voices in Discord replaced the noise of internet cafés, but the feeling is still the same.
And somewhere in the back of my mind, I'm all still waiting for Half-Life 3.
